One of the great things about this blog is the encouragement I feel as I see each of your accomplishments and positive attitudes! It makes me want to try harder and do better! Thank you!
This past week started out slow but as I became a little more coherent I actualy read my scriptures every day! I always have my nightly prayer but this week I want to improve on saying a morning prayer every day not just when I can squeeze it in! Thats the good news, the bad news is that Alexis and I have not been having family prayer. So that will once again be a goal for this week. We have started and stopped a few times which makes this even more of a challenge. But I know we can do it!
Thank you all for keeping up with this it really is a source of comfort and encouragment!
Your Dad, Alexis and I went to Bro. Branscome's viewing tonight. I just want each of you to know how thankful I am for the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how thankful I am for the missionary program and the full time missionaries who brought the gospel to my parents. I am thankful for my parents and their faithfulness and examples. I am so thankful for our membership in this gospel and pray that no one ever takes it for granted! I am thankful for our knowledge of the Plan of Salvation, for our Savior Jesus Christ and to our Heavenly Father for allowing his Only Begotten Son to come and atone for our sins! I know that Christ lives! That he died on the cross and was ressurected and because of that and through the blessings of the Temple we will be able to be together again with family and loved ones for eternity! I love each of you and I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
