Hey guys! We did good with our additional reading goal but only made it a few days reading together. So i figured out what our problem is..... it's going to bed too late!! So We are adding that to our goals this week!! But starting tomorrow because it's late right now!
1. family scripture study
2. read a church material in addition to scriptures each day
3. be in bed by 11pm
I taught the Relief Society lesson Sunday and it went really well! For me at least! lol I really learned a lot and it motivated me in many ways! Being a parent now, this chapter (Families Can be Eternal) really impacted me and my view on children and parenting. Our children are God's children.... we are stewards of them on this earth and will only get to be with them forever if we deserve to be and treat them as God's precious children that they are. Please read this chapter if you haven't already! I thought it was an awesome checklist of how we should be with our families and each other. I love how the gospel of Jesus Christ is one of progression. We can always improve no matter our situation. (Let me know if you read that chapter!)
